Dr. Derrick Dean, DO is the Chief Medical Officer of El Shaddai Clinic. He is a native of New Orleans, LA and a third-generation physician, is a board-certified physician in Urgent Care Medicine in the greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes. He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and completed his internship at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, PA and his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Stratford, NJ in Emergency Medicine. He practiced emergency medicine for over 14 years and has practiced urgent care medicine for the past 6 years. He has professional memberships with American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (ACOEP), American Medical Association (AMA) and American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
